Engagement Rings

These days many people take wedding bands and engagement rings for granted.

Asia / ARABIC

Puzzle rings were a complex form of jewelry, the once very popular in Asia and these jewels had the ability to remove the opportunity to love and back together - if I knew how, of course. Wealthy Middle Eastern men began using these rings as wedding rings from their wives, who were often forced to wear a ring puzzle, when her husband was away. The man was disloyal about their return or one of his wives by the ring while he was absent known, because the ring is designed to collapse in the kidnapping and could not be put together again, if you have the skills and knowledge.

EUROPEANS

Centuries ago, Europeans are rather with what the class is taken as an engagement ring, but it was still a poetic ring. This ring was given to a loved one as a form of promise, and signified fidelity and love. Ring of the seal was offered as a pledge of eternal union, such as engagement rings are now offered as a promise of eternal marriage.

AMERICANS

During the colonial period all the Jewels in the United States banned because of their apparent moral worthlessness. Instead, a more practical thimble was given as a token of love and a pledge of eternal union. But after marriage, women tend to base their "engagement thimble" to form a sort of ring to be removed.

History of Engagement Rings

The engagement ring of today also has its own interesting history and varied, some of which were then examined. Engagement rings are known under different names, have symbolized a variety of different things and are not always of noble metals and precious stones!

Why a ring?

The purpose of engagement rings and alliances is deep emotions of eternal love, eternal happiness, eternal commitment, and will communicate together forever. In fact, these rings signify eternity - between the donor and recipient. A ring is of course a complete circle, without interruption and without end or beginning, which means that only goes over the middle - is eternal.
